Kate Upton

A look at the gorgeous Kate Upton as shot by Terry Richardson and Yu Tsai

With Mercedes-Benz recently announcing they’d be teaming up with Kate Upton for their upcoming Super Bowl commercial, we thought what better way to get you prepped for the big game than with a photo gallery dedicated to the lovely Kate.  So we scoured the web and assembled approximately 35 of our favorite Kate Upton photos.

Most of the photos are courtesy of famed celeb photog Terry Richardson, who shot Kate for a recent GQ photoshoot.  Some of the others were taken in Terry’s studio, and the majority of the others were taken by Yu Tsai, another incredible fashion photographer.

You can see all of Kate and what to expect when she teams up with Mercedes-Benz in our Kate Upton photo gallery below.

Thanks to GQ, Terry Richardson and Yu Tsai for the photos.

Penélope Cruz

The Spanish born Penélope Cruz not only looks great lying in the sand, she's our latest pick in our Lifestyle Women's Category

Next week “Ironman 2” hits theaters, so we thought what better to usher in the occasion than by featuring one of its stars as our featured women.  That narrowed our selection down to Gwyneth Paltrow and Scarlett Johansson – both of whom we love – but the problem was that we couldn’t find any photos of either that we were completely happy with.  We went back to the drawing board, and then we remembered the movie “Vicky Cristina Barcelona” that Scarlett did with the beautiful Penélope Cruz, and just like that, our choice was complete.  Not quite the “Ironman 2” feature we had planned, but at least we’re only a single degree of separation away.

A bit of bio regarding the gorgeous Penélope, in case you were wondering.  She was born in the community of Madrid, Spain, and was signed at age 15.  Her first acting role came at the age of 16, and a year later her first feature film “Jamón, jamón” made its debut.  Since then she’s starred in a variety of mainstream Hollywood movies, including “Gothika”, “Sahara”, “Blow”, “Vanilla Sky”, “G-Force” and recently, the muscial “Nine”.  She’s also engaged to Javier Bardem, the cattle gun wielding killer from “No Country for Old Men”, and will be starring alongside Johnny Depp (again) in the fourth installment of “Pirates of the Caribbean”.

To see what Johnny has to look forward to, you can see all of Penélope Cruz and her infinite beauty in the photo gallery below.

Monica Bellucci in GQ

Monica Bellucci exhibits an undeniably raw beauty, making her our newest pick in our Lifestyle Women's category

Ask most men what attributes they look for in a woman, and they’ll tell you there’s nothing sexier than a woman who doesn’t mind getting a little dirty.  Monica Bellucci is a prime example.  Despite her undeniable beauty, she exudes a certain rawness that makes you think, whether it’s true or not, she’s not afraid afraid to forego the typical female decadence, roll her sleeves up, and get to work.  I think that’s why when selecting photos of her I went primarily with grainy black-and-white options.  She just looks better a little gritty.

If you’re from America, you’re likely to be at least somewhat familiar with Monica Bellucci.  She played the red leather clad Persephone in the “Matrix” sequels; she played Donna in “Shoot ‘Em Up”; and probably her most famous role, she played Mary Magdalene in Mel Gibson’s “The Passion of the Christ” (and yes, Mel made sure she was dirty as well).  Internationally, Bellucci has a far greater number of roles on her résumé including “Irréversible” and “Le Deuxième”, and she’s also the face on a range of Dior products.  As for her personal life, Monica was married to fashion photographer Claudio Carlos Basso in 1990, but it didn’t last.  She’s currently married to fellow actor Vincent Cassel (he played Danny Ocean’s nemesis in “Ocean’s 12”), with whom she has a daughter Deva.  The pair is expecting their second child this May.

You can see all of Mrs. Bellucci and her inherent rawness in the gallery below.  Thanks to GQ for some of the pics; thanks to everyone else for the rest.

Brooklyn Decker in GQ and Sports Illustrated

Brooklyn Decker is a model, part-time actress, and an avid Tar Heels fan, and she's our newest featured woman

It’s Friday; it’s almost the weekend; and I know you’re just dying to get out of the office and get busy enjoying that almost spring air (unless you live in the Midwest, where temps are in the ’20s and pretty much confine you to the indoors).  I want to help make those work hours tick by a bit quicker, so help I will.  It’s time for a brand new, always gorgeous featured woman, with this week’s choice being… drum roll please… the one and only Brooklyn Decker.  I already know what you’re thinking:  “Brooklyn Decker?  Who’s Brooklyn Decker?”  I wondered the same thing when I saw her in GQ a few months back, but I loved her photo, and thanks to the magic of Wikipedia, I now can tell you all about her.

Brooklyn Decker was born April 12, 1987.  She’s a model, part-time actress, and an avid Tar Heels fan.  She’s worked for Victoria’s Secret, she’s been featured numerous years in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue (including gracing the cover in 2010), and she’s made appearances on several television shows (such as NBC’s Chuck and USA Network’s Royal Pains).  And she’s married to Andy Roddick, who we hear plays tennis or something.

Personally, I don’t care what she does.  She could be the girl dressed up in the chicken suit outside my local Popeyes, and I’d still feature her – she’s that gorgeous.  Hit the gallery below and you’ll see what I mean.  Special thanks to GQ and Sports Illustrated for the pics.

Kate Winslet in Vanity Fair

An exceptional career and astoundingly picturesque beauty make Kate Winslet this week's featured woman

I have a confession to make…  I’m a sucker for classic women.  Case and point –  Jacqueline Bisset’s opening scene in “The Deep”.  How you can look that good in a white t-shirt is astonishing, really.  Unfortunately, there’s a problem.  In Hollywood, it seems like the beauty that women used to possess has diminished at an alarmingly fast pace.  But all is not lost, as evidenced by Kate Winslet.  She’s an exceptional actress, and she’s one of the few that actually possesses the picturesque beauty of old.  Add to that her recent availability due to an amicable split from her second husband, and we’ve got the perfect candidate for our second ever featured woman.  And a special thanks to Vanity Fair for the pictures.

January Jones in GQ

GQ's November cover girl becomes our choice for the first ever woman featured on eMercedesBenz

When we decided to add a lifestyle section to eMercedesBenz, we knew immediately that we wanted to add a category highlighting the awe-inspiring majesty of the female form.  In the past there’s been a variety of women featured on the site in connection with Mercedes; unfortunately, the majority are displayed in the typical Vogue-esque style, if you will.  For a practical example, check out this story and you’ll see exactly what I mean.  I’m sure there’s a plenty of people that dig that sort of thing; I’m not one of them, nor are the rest of the staff.  So instead, we decided to change course a bit, and we’re going to be bringing you women that we feel exemplify beauty.

Selecting our first woman was actually surprising easy.  When I heard last week that John Hamm (aka Don Draper in AMC’s ‘Mad Men’) has been tapped as the new voice for Mercedes-Benz USA, I thought to myself “Isn’t that the guy that works with January Jones, the incredibly sexy 32 year-old that graced the cover of GQ’s November issue?”  Indeed it is, and with that, our selection for the first ever woman featured on eMercedesBenz is complete.

Hit the gallery below to see more photos of the beautiful Ms. Jones below, and be sure to head over to GQ.com where you can see the full gallery and behind-the-scens video from the shoot.
