Mercedes-Benz G63 5.5 V8 Bi-Turbo “MC800”

With these changes, the vehicle is 15 cm higher and 12 cm wider on each side

The Mercedes-Benz G63 5.5 V8 Bi-Turbo “MC800” project is now completed. All hardware components (upgrade turbocharger, steel connecting rods, turbo pipes, sport cats) are now installed and the V8 engine is back in place. For the new hardware components, we have developed an appropriate software on our dyno. The result: Powerful 810 hp and 950 Nm.

Even the look of the G-class has changed significantly. A portal axle ensures now for more ground clearance and a brawny look. The 18-inch Beadlock rims with cross-country tires in 37×15.20R18 do the rest. With these changes, the vehicle is 15 cm higher and 12 cm wider on each side. A Movit braking system at front and rear axle ensures for optimal deceleration values. With the specially developed KW DDC suspension, it’s possible to control the suspension characteristics with a button easily from the cockpit.

McChip Mercedes SLS AMG Receives Upgraded Tuning Program

The McChip tuning program increased the power level up to an impressive 706 HP and 585 lb-ft of torque

The German aftermarket specialists, McChip, have updated their tuning program for the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG, by adding even more power.

The previously released McChip MC700 compressor kit included a mechanically driven compressor and a performance-enhancing high-end exhaust system that was developed in cooperation with Capristo Exhaust Systems. These additions increased the 6.2-liter naturally aspirated V8 engine’s power level up to an impressive 680 HP and 567 lb-ft of torque. Adding the extra 109 HP set you back 69,900 Euros, or around $808 dollars each per HP.

But now, the specialist from Mcchip-Dkr have achieved an even more impressive number. Increasing the output with a program dubbed “stage 4” the SLS AMG output has been upped to 706 HP (519 kW) and 793 Nm (585 lb-ft). McChip managed this by installing a custom exhaust system, sports catalytic converters and performing engine software tweaks. The entire power upgrade package will cost you 78,999 EUR.

In addition to the massive power boost, a hydraulically-controlled DDC or HLS 4-sports chassis made by KW is available for 12,999 EUR. CoverEFX is selling this complete matte grey/red foliation for an extra 5,999 EUR.
