Mercedes SLS AMG by Inden Design Photographed with Katja Runiello

Inden has boosted SLS AMG's output from 571hp to 623hp with the help of a new exhaust system along with a software upgrade

The Mercedes SLS AMG may have been replaced by the speedier SLS AMG GT, but that hasn’t stopped Inden Designed from releasing photos and details of their latest SLS AMG offering – one that boasts higher speeds than the new SLS GT.  And what better way to show off their latest creation than by obtaining German model Katja Runiello to pose along side their Gullwing (check out the photo gallery for more of the beautiful Katja if you’re unfamiliar with her work).

As for the car, Inden has boosted SLS AMG’s output from the standard 571hp to 623hp with the help of a new exhaust system (complete with sportskats and manifold) along with a software upgrade. Outside, Inden Design fitted the Mercedes SLS AMG with a set of 21-inch light metal rims painted in gloss black in a multi spoke design. The wheels are wrapped with Continental high-performance tires measuring 265/30R21 at the front and 295/25R21 at the rear.

To see more of the Inden Design Mercedes SLS AMG, we’ve got the full press release and photo shoot below.  And if you’re just interested in checking out more of Katja, there’s more of her in the gallery as well.

Mercedes SL 65 AMG BiTurbo by INDEN Design

The tuner INDEN Design from Flammersbach has taken on the daunting task of upgrading the SL 65 AMG V12 BiTurbo

AMG produces one of the world’s most powerful roadsters, the SL 65 AMG V12 BiTurbo, since 2004. The roadster is built on the base of the Mercedes-Benz R230 and has the 6-liter engine (also used in Maybachs) offering up 612 hp (450 kW). The “natural” torque (in the truest sense of the word) of the engine is 1200 Nm, but it is limited by the engine control to 1000 Nm.

The noble tuner INDEN Design from Flammersbach near the Hessian Haiger has taken on the daunting task of upgrading the SL again . With Joachim Inden at the helm– the deep black roadster, INDEN tunes the beast and finishes it in black sapphire as a result of the conversion.

Let us begin with a front apron, which has huge holes for ventilation. The hood had to go through corrections as well. The front wings were widened, that required to change the inner wheel arches. Linking of this set of side skirts and front and rear wheel arches could hardly be made more individual. The rear wheel arches have considerably more volume now. At the rear, subtle spoiler and modified apron with rear diffuser are conspicuous.

Direct contact between the vehicle and asphalt is achieved by a perfectly adequate wheel / tire combination of three-part INDEN Champion 11×20 or 13×20-inch rims with 265/30 and 325/25R20 tires.

Electronic control module provides additional lowering by about 45 mm. The performance of the aforementioned engine was – not surprisingly – increased to 680 hp, and the Vmax-lock was removed. For the desired sonorous engine sound Black Sapphire exhaust pipes were installed. The interior of the INDEN’s SL 65 AMG V12 features a Black Series Steering Wheel in Alcantara.

Youcan take a look more closely at this vehicle at the Tuning World Bodensee in Friedrichshafen from May 5 to 11, 2011.

Mercedes-Benz S65 AMG Look-Alike by INDEN Design

Inden Design unveiled their latest package that aims to make the Mercedes-Benz S500 look more like the S65 AMG

Inden Design, a German based tuning firm, unveiled their latest package that aims to make the Mercedes-Benz S500 (W221) look more like the S65 AMG.

Daytime running lights are added to the tuned S-Class in addition to the retouch taillights and side mirrors. Also on the exterior, a new front spoiler, rear diffuser with integrated quad exhaust pipes and updated side sills. To finished it off, the Mercedes S500 receives an updated paint job with a charcoal gray matte film.

In terms of engine tuning, there is a power upgrade to 420 PS (309 kW / 414 bhp) up from the S-Class’ 388 PS (285 kW / 383 bhp) on the 5.5 liter V8 Engine. This is in part thanks to the new stainless-steel exhaust system with AMG pipes.

Brakes are also upgraded to the same found on the S600 V12 BiTurbo with 6-piston calipers for the front wheels and 4-piston brake calipers on the rear axle.

50 mm suspension lowering can also be seen on the new INDEN Design S-Class and really helps to highlight the new 20-inch wheels with 265/30-20 tires at the front and 275/30-20 tires for the rear rims.

For the interior, INDEN Design added a two-tone leather and Alcantara finish for the headliner, door panels and all three pillars along with carbon inserts replacing the former wood trims. Also, a new speedometer now reads up to 360 km/h.
