BRABUS' newest endeavor entitled the E V12 is packing an 800 horsepower V12 and is based on the 2010 Mercedes E-Class

Just when you thought BRABUS had reached the limit of how much power they could squeeze into a Mercedes, the company has unveiled the latest in a long line of exceptionally high powered models. BRABUS’ newest endeavor is entitled the E V12, and as you’ve probably surmised, it’s based on the 2010 Mercedes E-Class, with one key difference: it’s packing an 800 horsepower V12. That’s right, ladies and gentlemen, BRABUS has packed shoehorned their newly developed BRABUS SV12 R Biturbo 800 twelve-cylinder powerplant into the 2010 E-Class – one that boasts 800 hp (788 bhp) / 588 kW and1,420 Nm of torque – and one that subsequently propels the model from 0-62 mph in 3.7 seconds before helping it reach a final top speed of more than 230 mph.

To help the E V12 cope with its newfound power, a heavily modified aerodynamic package has been fitted, ranging from new front and rear aprons and fenders to special cowlings in the rear BRABUS calls “Speed Spads,” with the ultimate goal of course to streamline airflow while providing additional cooling to the various components.

High performance braking and suspension systems, a customized interior and a new exhaust system are just a few of the other changes.

If you’re interested in procuring your own BRABUS E V12, there are a grand total of 10 set for production, so you need to act quick. Pricing is set at at EUR 498,000, a small price to pay to hit the elusive 230 mph mark.

The BRABUS SV12 R Mercedes-Benz S600: The World’s Fastest Luxury Sedan

The BRABUS SV12 R, based on the Mercedes-Benz S600, boasts a staggering 750 hp at 5,500 rpm, peak torque 1,350 Nm at 2,100

Continuing their tradition of developing the most powerful Mercedes models in existence, BRABUS has just unveiled the latest member of their high powered luxury sedan family. It’s titled the BRABUS SV12 R, and it’s based on the recently face lifted Mercedes-Benz S600. So how powerful is it? In total, the BRABUS SV12 R boasts a staggering 750 hp (740 bhp) / 552 kW at 5,500 rpm, while peak torque comes in at 1,350 Nm at 2,100 (electronically limited to 1,100 Nm). All of this is made possible through a displacement increase from 5.5 to 6.3 liters, four new camshafts, larger turbochargers and a more efficient intercooling system (among other things), with the end result being a 0-62 mph time of 4 seconds flat along with an electronically limited top speed of 211 mph. Yes ladies and gentlemen, you heard that right: an electronically limited top speed of 211 mph.

Transferring the abundant power to the ground, the BRABUS SV12 R features a modified five-speed automatic transmission along with an optional locking differential to help maximize traction. Helping better the standard Mercedes S600’s aerodynamic properties, a new front apron, new front sport fenders, new rocker panels, a new rear apron and new rear spoiler are present, all of which were developed from scratch in a wind tunnel to optimize airflow and provide enhanced cooling for the vehicle’s various systems. And of course, no S-Class is complete without an exemplary level of technology inside the vehicle. For the BRABUS SV12 S, a trunk-mounted ultra-slim 3-GHz notebook computer (UMTS internet enabled) is wired into the vehicle and operated via a second COMAND dial, allowing the operator to browse the Internet, host a video conference directly from the rear seat, watch television and/or movies, etc. There’s even a printer housed in a specially designed rear center console, further emphasizing its ability to act as a mobile office.

Believe it or not, this is only a sampling of the new BRABUS SV12 R’s many features. To learn more about the model and see it from a number of different angles, keep scrolling for the full photo gallery (click any photo to enlarge) followed by the full press release.

BRABUS Tunes the New 2010 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe

Changes range from a new BRABUS spoiler, quarter panels, rocker panels and a rear apron to BRABUS Monoblock light-alloy wheels

With the new 2010 Mercedes E-Class Coupe officially on sale (in select markets, anyway), it’s only fitting that we turn our attention to tuning programs for the new model.  Always ahead of the pack with their tuning prowess, the first such program comes from BRABUS, with the company offering substantial styling and performance upgrades for the new E Coupe.

Outside, changes range from a new BRABUS front spoiler, front quarter panels, rocker panels and a rear apron to new BRABUS Monoblock light-alloy wheels in your choice of 17, 18, 19 or 20 inches.  Complimenting its sportier appearance, BRABUS boosted the E500 (and E550) Coupe’s displacement to 6.1-Liters, resulting in a total output of 462 hp (456 bhp) / 340 kW and a peak torque of 615 Nm (453 lb-ft) at just 3,100 rpm.  As a result, the tuned E500 Coupe can accelerate from 0-62 mph in 4.7 seconds before reaching a top speed of 196 mph.

To ensure your performance-oriented E-Class Coupe stays planted firmly on the road, BRABUS has also added a height-adjustable coil-over sport suspension along with a high performance brake system – one that features six-piston aluminum fixed calipers and 360 mm (14.2 inches) vented and cross-drilled discs on the front axle (four-piston aluminum fixed calipers are fitted on the rear).

As is the case with all the BRABUS Mercedes tuning programs, there are a host of options which can be customized based on your specific requirements, including performance enhancements for different engine variants, interior enhancements, etc.  As for the specific engine tuning program noted above for the E500 Coupe (E550 Coupe in the U.S.), it’ll set you back EUR 29,000.

BRABUS, purveyors of some of the finest tuning programs in existence, released an update for their WIDESTAR M-Class package

BRABUS, purveyors of some of the finest tuning programs in existence, have just released an update for their WIDESTAR M-Class tuning package – one designed specifically for the refreshed new-generation ML. Like its predecessor, the new BRABUS WIDESTAR is roughly five centimeters wider than the a traditional M-Class, the result of which is both a more aggressive stance and improved handling.

To make the BRABUS WIDSTAR what it is, the company’s engineers improved upon a number of key areas: the front apron, the front and rear fender flares, the door trim, the rocker panels and the rear apron. In tandem with these body components, BRABUS also modified the suspension, dropping the ML by some 30 millimeters before adding 23-inch BRABUS forged wheels. Completing the outside package, a BRABUS stainless-steel quad sport exhaust system is present, as is a rear spoiler.

Of course, no BRABUS tuning program is complete without modifications to the engine, and the BRABUS WIDESTAR is no exception. For the top-of-the-line ML63 AMG, BRABUS offers a B63S package, increasing power output to 550 hp (542 bhp / 404.8 kW). For the ML320 CDI, the D6 (III) power kit is available, the result of which is a maximum output of 272 hp (268 bhp / 200 kW). And for the ML500, the BRABUS 6.1 displacement engine has been created, a program that boosts power to 462 hp (456 bhp / 340 kW). There’s engine tuning programs for the rest of the ML family is well, but this at least gives you some idea of what’s available.

And last but not least, should you desire a few additional luxuries inside your BRABUS WIDESTAR M-Class, various functional interior appointments are all at your disposal. An ergonomically shaped sport steering wheel, stainless-steel scuff plates, a multimedia system with 7-inch monitors in the rear headrests – if you desire it, there’s a good chance BRABUS can meet your wishes (for a price, of course).
