Wald Black Bison Edition Tuning Package for the W221 Mercedes-Benz S-Class

Wald set out to change viewers first impression of the Black Bison Mercedes-Benz S-Class from being aggressive to being stylish

Our good friends over at WALD sent us their new tuning program for the W221 Black Bison Edition, after face lift model.

They started by taking out the Dual Fog Lamps and put LED daylight running lights on the front face. Wald departed from their typical A-Line design from the front bumper and used a more sporty straight bottom. Wald also gave the rear bumper a race ready look with dual piled exhaust tips.

By making the above changes, Wald set out to change viewers first impression of the car from being aggressive to being more stylish. According to Shuichi Miwa from Wald, the pictured tuning kit is available and are already being released through WALD Distributors all over the world.

Going through our inbox this beautiful May morning, the fine gentlemen over at Wald sent us some new photos of the work they’ve done on the Mercedes E-Class – one of the W211 variety, and the second of the W212.  The first is the Wald W211 WAGON SPORTS LINE Black Bison, an enhanced version of the prior E-Class Estate clad in what’s grown to become the traditional Wald fare.  A new front and rear bumper, new side skirts, new front fenders with integrated air ducts and a DTM Sports Muffler are all present, as are 20″ Wald Germania rims.  Topping it all off, the chrome elements have been replaced with those of a carbon fiber variety, while a lessened ride height (i.e. you can barely see the rear tire) add the finishing touches on the now sportier E-Class Wagon.  You can see more of the Wald W211 WAGON SPORTS LINE Black Bison in the gallery below, and be sure to stay tuned for part two of today’s Wald tuning coverage.

Topping it all off, as any good tuner does, Wald’s thrown in a stylized pair of their new G11C wheels –  20×85 up front and 20×95 in the rear.  Delieveries of the new G11C kick off in the beginning of April.  To see more of the Wald 2010 E-Class Black Bison Edition, you can check out a pair of photos in gallery below.  Enjoy ladies and gentlemen.

I don’t know about you, but I can’t think of a better way to kick off a beautiful summer Friday morning than with a healthy dose of Mercedes tuning goodness, and thanks to the fine gentlemen at Wald, that’s exactly what we have for you today.  First up is a new tuning package for the W204 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Estate, entitled the Wald Sports Line Black Bison Edition.  Highlights of the kit include a new front apron (with new fog lights), new vented front fenders, side skirts, a new rear apron, and a sport exhaust system.

Completing the package, those delectable five-spoke Wald rims, somewhat reminiscent of those found on factory AMG models.

But describing with words a tuning package is no fun, especially considering we’ve got high-res photos showcasing the Wald C-Class Estate Black Bison Edition in all its glory.

The WALD Mercedes-Benz S-Class Black Bison Edition with Mahora M13 Three-Piece Wheels

Thee wheels design speaks for itself, a perfect match to the Black Bison kit than the black Portofino forged wheels

For those of you looking to spruce up your Mercedes S-Class, Wald just sent us a few pics of their Black Bison kit for the model paired with their new Mahora M13 three-piece wheels. The Black Bison kit isn’t new – we told you about it last March – but in case you missed it, it consists of a new front and rear apron, sports fender ducts, side skirts and a few new spoilers.

As for the wheels, their design speaks for itself, but personally I find them to be a better match with the Black Bison kit than the black Portofino forged wheels originally featured on the model.
