Say Goodbye to the Limo and Hello to the Carisma Viano

Carisma Auto Design restyles the Mercedes-Benz Viano making it a custom first class luxury cruiser

There is no  doubt about it, Mercedes-Benz is and has always been synonymous with luxury, giving drivers and passengers not just what they need but everything they want. Mercedes-Benz Vans however are not generally thought of the same – instead of being thought of as luxury cruisers, they’re bought instead for their safety and function.  That sentiment no longer holds true however as Carisma Auto Design restyled the Mercedes Viano, making it a custom first class transporter.

The Carisma Viano is for travelers who want a first class luxury with all the amenities expected from the very best limo but without the unwanted attention.  It is also the perfect solution for business travelers that want all the comfort and function found in their own private office.  It is completely customizable to fit your style tastes and according to Carisma is limited only by your imagination. Carisma Auto Design claims that because of its bespoke nature, no two clients will have the same Viano conversions.

For the interior of the Viano, Carisma sources leather only from barbed-wire-free countries and each installation is designed, hand-built and fitted by master craftsmen who learned their trade restoring classic cars to concourse condition.

Carisma offers the standard options, Windows or Apple on-board operating system, paired with a Bang & Olufsen sound system for optimum multimedia enjoyment..  But no request is to extreme, recent client requests have included solid crystal ashtrays and champagne flutes; integrated fountain pens and ink wells; 42-inch TV’s and refrigeration units.

As Carisma Auto Design’s Sales and Marketing Director, Clive Drake, explains: “Many of our clients are high-profile heads of states, celebrities or important business people, it is therefore not always possible for them to travel around in a conspicuous luxury limousine, however they still want the luxury and comfort that is provided by such a vehicle, this is where the Viano from Carisma comes in. Satisfying special and unusual requests is a key part of our specialist skills and services. Clients come to us because they know that we can achieve the impossible and deliver a vehicle to them that exceeds their expectations. Trust me, we’ve been asked to incorporate some truly outlandish features, but we still manage to integrate them seamlessly into the vehicle’s interior.”

RevoZport Introduces Tuning Package for the Mercedes A-Class

RevoZport is setting the benchmark high for Mercedes AMG A-Class tuners with their new RZA-290 package

When it comes to tuning the A-Class, RevoZport is setting the benchmark high. Hong Kong based tuner RevoZport is determined to make their mark in the Mercedes tuner market, specifically in the AMG segment.

RevoZport started their A-Class tuning project, code RZA-290, (especially for the A200 & A250 owners) and focused its design around a complete aerokit that enhances the aggressive shape of the already perfectly shaped AMG A-Class.  To do this, RevoZport went through a very long design process (near 6 months) and finally came up with a sporty design that features a front add-on splitter, an aggressive canard that helps rush more air to the radiator and oil cooler, side skirts that helps side wind downforce, a lightweight carbon bonnet with vents to cool the engine bay. The back is the most exciting part of the new package, it was designed with a diffuser that uses a square shape quad exhaust tip along with a 3D underspoiler. All for the function of dissipating heat and create extra downforce. The GT wing finishes off the overall aggressive look and confirms the RZA-290 as a true hot hatch from the appearance.

Why did RevoZport dub it the RZA-290? The answer is simple, a performance package is coming soon to all the A250 owners to turn the car from the original 211hp to 290hp. This was achieved by teaming up a German engineering partner, bringing out a specially written engine map (piggy bag and completely reversible) that works well with the carbon intake system, a sport cat down pipe and a super lightweight titanium exhaust.

When you think of tuned Mercedes models, the Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe likely isn’t the first choice that comes to mind.  We’ve seen one from Brabus, one from Kicherer and others from Prior Design, but aside from those, tuners tend to focus more on other models. Prior Design E-Class Coupe PD850 Black Edition

Mercedes CLS63 AMG Stealth by German Special Customs

The GSC CLS63 AMG outputs 750 HP, 1,150 Nm of torque propelling it from 0-62 mph in 3.7 seconds & a top speed of 217 mph

We first took notice of German Special Customs when they unveiled their original styling kit for the Mercedes CLS63 AMG called the Stealth. This week, German Special Customs revealed their latest CLS63 AMG Stealth.  This time the four-door coupe comes in a not so stealthy, standout  orange.

German Special Customs treated the engine to a makeover that increases the output from the standard 550 HP to an impressive 750 HP with a torque output of 1,150 Nm of torque (848 lb-ft). Only needing 3.7 seconds to sprint 0-62 mph It does 0 to 100 km/h in 3.7 before reaching its top speed of 217 mph.  This explains the bright orange color, the CLS63 AMG doesn’t need to be stealthy when its this fast.

Mercedes G63 / G65 AMG Mansory Gronos Unveiled Ahead of Geneva

Instead of the standard 544 hp the G63 AMG GRONOS offers up 840 hp, while the max torque is up to an electronically-limited 1000 Nm

MANSORY has today unveiled their latest cration for the new Mercedes G 63 AMG and G 65 AMG SUV’s to be on display at the Geneva Motor Show starting tomorrow. Mastering both the 8 and 12 cylindar engines like the Greek god Cronos did with his 12 Titans, Mansory dubbed the new kit the Gronos.

The Mansory Gronos has been completely reworked, genuine racing components were installed in the the eight-cylinder bi-turbo engine of the AMG along with engine pistons, connecting rods, rod bearings, crankshaft, crank, the cylinder head and many other parts that now meet the high demands of Kourosh Mansory. Together with the newly designed exhaust system from the manifold right up to the double stainless steel tailpipes, which poke out before the rear wheels, resulting in superior performance characteristics. Instead of developing 544 hp (400 kW) the GRONOS reaches an impressive 840 hp (618 kW), while the maximum torque is raised to an electronically-limited 1000 Nm. An increase in performance for the 12 cylinder G 65 AMG is already in the experimental stage.

The GRONOS wears completely new bodywork designed from ultra-light carbon, its stiffness handles all the demands of terrain, road and track. On the front spoiler with the LED daytime running lights and the front fairing that lays over it, the material with the characteristic grain on the styling fins in visible carbon fibre meets the light of day. Even the lining of the headlights displays material typical for MANSORY.

The main headlights are also the centrepiece of the new MANSORY Lightelements design, which give the GRONOS a completely self-contained look. In addition to the elegant design of the lights this also includes clever solutions like the hidden indicators. These no longer squat clumsily on the fenders, but are now embedded in the nine pinhead-sized recesses underneath the headlights.

As on the entire vehicle multiple layers of paint in Magic Yellow colour cover the bonnet, while still sometimes allowing a glimpse of the extravagant use of carbon fibre. The roof, the mirror housings and the decorative trims on the sides of the GRONOS can shine in their pure carbon design even without additional colour.

The new width, among others, is responsible for the self-assured appearance of GRONOS. Thanks to the wider wings and the side skirts the G model has grown by 20 mm in width. The wheel arches which have been stretched to the side are filled by forged wheels, which celebrate their world premier in the GRONOS. The rims with the ten twin spokes measure 23 inches, which are coated in ultra-high-performance 305/30/23 Vredestein Ultrac Vorti tyres. At the back the rear spoiler in a new design and of course the spare wheel cover made of carbon fibre round off the transformation of the GRONOS.

The continuation of these can be found in the interior. Both the dashboard as well as the entire area of the centre console has been completely re-designed. The in-house upholstery has, in collaboration with the design department, implemented a carbon design with coloured elements, which extends the concept of the exterior into the interior. The team has once again shown that at MANSORY only the best pristine leather of the highest grade, error-free fine woods, and of course, only perfectly produced carbon fibre will be worked with.

This is the only way to a complete transformation, which is worthy of the MANSORY GRONOS name.
MANSORY Design & Holding GmbH exclusively offers their own specially developed modification accessories. It does not trade in complete vehicles and also does not offer these for sale.

Brabus B63S Mercedes CLS63 AMG Premiering in Geneva

The Brabus B63S can go 0-62 mph in 3.8 seconds and 0-124 mph in only 10.8 seconds with a top speed of 217 mph

Premiering at the Geneva Motor Show next week will be the latest tuning program from Brabus – the B63S for the Mercedes CLS63 AMG. This will be in addition to the SL65 AMG Brabus 800 that will be on display in Geneva.

Under the hood is a 5.5-liter eight-cylinder Biturbo engine capable of outputting 537 kW / 730 hp  and 1,065 Nm of torque, enough to propel you to a top speed up to 217 mph.  How’d they do it?  Brabus developed the program using state of the art bench technology to design two special Braubs turbochargers with larger compressor units, both of which generate a higher boost pressure than the production turbos.

Additionally, a low-temp water to air intercooler in conjunction with the Brabus Gold Heat Reflection system all serve to improve the power yield because of the lower charge-air temps, improving durability as well.  Brabus also remapped the ECU and added 75 millimeter wide downpipes, all topped off with a stainless steel sport exhaust system.

Put all these pieces together, and the Brabus B63S is a monster, capable of accelerating 0-62 mph in 3.8 seconds and 0-124 mph in only 10.8 seconds.  And while the stock CLS is electronically limited to a mere 155 mph, the Brabus B63S has a top speed of 217 mph. Due to the higher rear-axle load of the CLS 63 AMG Shooting Brake however, the top speed for the shooting brake is limited to 186 mph (out of consideration for the tires).

Matching the performance, the exterior of the B63S has been redefined with sporty fender attachments with backlit BRABUS logo and components that are all manufactured from especially light yet high-strength carbon fibers.  Two finishes are available – matte or high gloss.

Monoblock wheels with diameters of 19 and 20 inches are available, with the largest tires supplied for the 20-inch alloys in size 255/30 ZR 20 for the 9Jx20 wheels on the front axle and in size 295/25 ZR 20 for the 10.5Jx20 wheels in the rear.

Inside, the custom-tailored Brabus interior notes extensive use of  Mastik leather and Alcantara. Rounding off the interior is a speedometer with 250 mph dial and rear-seat tables attached to the backs of the front seats; aluminum components such as pedal pads, door lock pins and shift paddles for the steering wheel; and your choice of either carbon fiber or wood trim(s).

If all of these upgrades aren’t enough, you can also opt for the custom-tailored BRABUS multimedia concept – including optional Apple iPad integration and a host of technology features.

You can check out more of the Brabus B63S Mercedes CLS63 AMG in the photo gallery below, or see it in person at the Geneva Motor Show.

Very much in the style of the traditional Mercedes brand, which values comfort and elegance but also sportiness, MANSORY offers almost limitless interior options as well.  It is not surprising to see that Mansory is offering the finest materials with leather work completed by master craftsmen for a durable yet soft finish that can even be seen in the updated steering wheel. Brabus, the Mercedes tuner widely known in the automotive world for building some of the world’s most powerful passenger cars, has just announced that they’ll be displaying their new Brabus 800 Roadster at the Geneva Motor Show next week.  Based on the Mercedes SL 65 AMG, the Mercedes two-seater is powered by a 12-cylinder Biturbo engine that’s been updated with the Brabus T65 RS tuning program, bumping output to 588 kW / 800 hp (788 bhp) of power and a peak torque of 1,420 Nm.  This results in an insane 0-62 mph sprint time of 3.7 seconds and a mere 9.8 second jaunt to hit 124 mph. If those numbers weren’t enough to impress you with the Brabus SL 65 AMG, how about an electronically limited top speed of 217 mph?  Putting that speed in terms you may relate to, at yesterday’s Daytona 500, top speeds hovered just over 200mph.

In addition to the engine upgrades, Brabus offers equipment updates as well, including plenty of carbon-fiber body parts that help make the car more aerodynamic finished in your choice of matte or glossy. The Brabus SL rides on a set of Monoblock R “Platinum Edition” forged wheel wrapped in 255/30 ZR 20 tires (front) 305/25 ZR 20 tires (rear) high performance tires.

There is also a special control module that lowers the roadster about one inch (25mm) – while it may seem inconsequential while driving standard highway speeds, hit the track at 200 mph+ and you want to be as aerodynamically efficient as possible..

Lastly, Brabus has upgraded the Brabus 800 Roadster’s interior with all of the finest and tasteful finishing available.
