In an effort to prepare for the impending ice age we seem to be headed into, Mercedes is testing the AMG GT (C190) out in the cold. Keep in mind however, that just because it can handle cold weather and snow, you’re better off swapping it out on snowy days for a G-Wagon – you never now when you’ll find yourself doing battle with a passing snow plow.
Based on the latest photos and thanks to the less bulky camo, you can see that the AMG GT has been influence more by the SLS than previously thought. It features a large front grille and LED headlights at the front of a very long hood and dual exhaust setup.
The standard Mercedes AMG GT will pull its power from a twin-turbo V8 4.0 liter engine that is capable of outputting 485 HP while the upgraded S or Black Series will up horsepower to 550 HP.
Expect to see the C190 on public display at the Paris Motor Show before heading into dealers in 2015 at a starting price around 110,000EUR.
Check out the photo gallery below for a look at the all-new AMG GT and stay tuned as we will continue to bring you news as it becomes available.

Youtube user, DrGumoLunatic, posted a spy video of what looks to be an updated Mercedes CLS63 AMG sporting minimal camo in Böblingen near Stuttgart, Germany. What do you think, could this far departure from the previous CLS be the future four-door coupe.
The very first spy photos of the smart forfour have made their way to the web and thanks to our good friends across the pond, we have them for you.
Spied testing in Germany, the heavily camouflaged prototypes sit on the same platform as the new Renault Twingo and may debut alongside the new smart fortwo that was spied in the fall of ’13.
In addition to riding on the same platform, the overall shape of the upcoming smart forfour is reminiscent of the Twingo but with a uniquely smart front and rear end.
Like the smart fortwo, the forfour’s rear wheels will receive power from the rear placed engine for better stability and will also come with the option of a panorama roof.

There are also a plethora of buttons to choose your desired driving mode as well as an electronic parking brake button, climate controls and start/stop engine buttons.
Also seen in the photos are four centralized air vents and a free-standing touchscreen display (not to be used when testing out the car’s sprint time)

Featuring updated front and rear bumpers, the facelifted CLS will also sport revised side skirts, headlights and taillights. While those will be the most significant changes to the exterior, the interior will also receive a few minor updates – a larger COMAND display and knob as well as a slightly more shapely steering wheel.
These modifications we’re seeing on the four-door coupe CLS will also carry over to the CLS Shooting Brake version and the AMG CLS models.
Stay tuned as spy photos continue to come in with less and less camo, but for now, head to the gallery below for a look at the most current CLS spy photos.

The sneaky spy photogs got up close and personal with the upcoming Mercedes-Benz C-Class Estate – spied with less camo then previously seen.
With a scheduled debut for the second half of 2014, the C-Class wagon is taking several design cues from the recently revealed C-Class Sedan. The back of the upcoming estate is still heavily covered but we are still able to get a good look at the slopping roofline, upward sweeping beltline and wraparound taillights.
Just like the sedan is larger that the prior model’s design (95 mm longer and 40mm wider), you can also expect to see a size increase in the estate as well.
As for what’s going under the hood, engine options likelyde include:

A “sporty, sleek and clean” design, according to Mercedes-Benz design chief, Gorden Wagener, that is what you can expect from the next-generation GLK SUV.
Based on Mercedes’ new MRA platfrom, the new GLK will be launched in 2015 with a more utilitarian design and slightly longer wheelbase to make room for the newly popular GLA.

We’ve been talking about the all-new Mercedes AMG GT, aka SLC, aka C190, aka SLS AMG replacement. Call it what you will, the new model is a smaller, less expensive version of the outgoing SLS AMG but with nearly everything we’ve come to love about the more expensive and now departed SLS AMG.
Though still covered heavily in camo, the new spy photos from GMotors show a long bonnet and large grille in the front, small spoiler in the back and traditional doors instead of gullwing doors. It is a sleek and sexy design that we can’t wait to see more of.
Under the hood will likely be the new V8 4.0-liter twin-turbo engine attached to a 7-speed speedshift dual-clutch gearbox that is capable of an output around 493 bhp (327 kW).
Expect to see the full reveal later this year.

Mercedes may have just debuted the new Mercedes-Benz C-Class in Detroit but we’re already looking ahead at what’s to come. According to Tobias Moers, AMG’s Product Chief, Mercedes’ BMW M3 rival, otherwise known as the Mercedes C63 is about a year away.
But knowing the C63 AMG is on its way isn’t enough, we want to know what kind of power the AMG will output. It looks like we can expect a new 4.0-litre turbocharged V8. “You are now familiar with our 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine? Well you can imagine what happens when you put two of those together,” Moers said.
Moers declined to discuss power output, but states that AMG’s tend to deliver a little more power than the competition. The new BMW M3 outputs 424bhp from its new turbocharged 3.0-litre six-cylinder engine, which would put the all-new Mercedes C63 AMG output well over 450bhp in standard trim and over 500bhp with the optional Peformance Pack.

The crafty spies over at WCF captured interior and exterior photos of the facelifted Mercedes CLS 63 AMG Shooting Brake while sitting in a parking lot.
The facelifted shooting brake was only covered lightly by camouflage, showing off the updates to the model’s bumpers and grille. From the interior photos, you can also see the updated steering wheel, larger COMAND knob and the massive COMAND display.
As for engine options on the updated model, they will carryover from the current model and include twin-turbo 5.5-liter V8 (557 HP (410 kW) and 720 Nm (531 lb-ft) of torque), as well as an S-Model that will have the same engine but modified to output 585 HP (430 kW) and 800 Nm (590 lb-ft) of torque.
The Mercedes M-Class has been on the market for a couple of years and is still the company’s top selling SUV. But it seems Mercedes thinks that in order to stay on top that they’re going to have to throw in a facelift soon to keep driver’s interested.
Spied doing a bit of testing near the Arctic Circle, the facelifted Mercedes M-Class is sporting an updated front fascia with a single bar grille and redesigned headlights. According to WCF’s photographer there are also new character lines and an updated daytime running light bar.
Even though the exterior is being revamped, don’t look for much in the way of engine updates as options will carryover from the current generation with minor modifications that improve performance and fuel efficiency. One major change we may see however is a new hybrid variant and an ML 400 that is fitted with a twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6 that is capable of outputting around 330 bhp (246 kW) and 350 lb-ft (474 Nm) of torque.

Although not expected to hit the market until 2015, the larger second generation Mercedes-Benz GLK has been spied yet again.
Growing in size to separate itself from the all-new GLA, the GLK will receive a longer wheel base and wider stance. Making room for the elongated wheelbase, the GLK’s front axle will be moved forward.
Still heavily covered in camo, design leaks are minimal but based on the latest Mercedes models, the GLK will likely receive a sportier exterior with a slightly sloped roofline. Also worth noting is that the rear windows in the prototype are a temporary ones
The powerhouse of the GLK lineup will be as follows: a newly created 1.8-liter 4-cylinder turbocharged engine inside the GLK 250, a 2.1-liter 4-cylinder diesel under the hood of the GLK 250 BlueTEC, and for the more powerful GLK 350, a V6 motor which could be topped by a possible AMG.
