The spies over at World Car Fans managed to grab a few photos of the 2012 Mercedes-Benz SLK63 AMG doing a bit of testing near the Nürburgring. Still heavily camouflaged, clear signs of the massive engine within the SLK AMG are seen. AMG trademarks inclue: twin, oval, double exhaust pipes, an updated aggressive front bumper and high performance disk brakes.
Still unclear to any of us are the exact engine specs. There are currenlty three possible contenders: the first being a rumored 422 hp (315 kW / 428 PS) 5.5-liter V8, a 451 hp (336 kW / 457 PS) 6.2-liter V8, and a detuned 5.5-liter twin-turbo V8 that normally produces 537 hp (400 kW / 544 PS) and 800 Nm (590 lb-ft) of torque.
