View photo galleryNext week “Ironman 2″ hits theaters, so we thought what better to usher in the occasion than by featuring one of its stars as our featured women. That narrowed our selection down to Gwyneth Paltrow and Scarlett Johansson – both of whom we love – but the problem was that we couldn’t find any photos of either that we were completely happy with. We went back to the drawing board, and then we remembered the movie “Vicky Cristina Barcelona” that Scarlett did with the beautiful Penélope Cruz, and just like that, our choice was complete. Not quite the “Ironman 2″ feature we had planned, but at least we’re only a single degree of separation away.
A bit of bio regarding the gorgeous Penélope, in case you were wondering. She was born in the community of Madrid, Spain, and was signed at age 15. Her first acting role came at the age of 16, and a year later her first feature film “Jamón, jamón” made its debut. Since then she’s starred in a variety of mainstream Hollywood movies, including “Gothika”, “Sahara”, “Blow”, “Vanilla Sky”, “G-Force” and recently, the muscial “Nine”. She’s also engaged to Javier Bardem, the cattle gun wielding killer from “No Country for Old Men”, and will be starring alongside Johnny Depp (again) in the fourth installment of “Pirates of the Caribbean”.
