The new V-Class: the Mercedes among the MPVs – From emotional design through premium interior equipment and outstanding safety to efficient driving fun, the new V-Class comes with a wide range of new features that are unparalleled in this segment. “The new V-Class brings together the best of two worlds – the functionality of an MPV and the typical strengths of Mercedes-Benz passenger cars,” says Volker Mornhinweg, Head of Mercedes-Benz Vans.

The V-Class is the only vehicle in the segment to offer a broad palette of assistance systems that fuse together safety and comfort. These include the standard-fit Crosswind Assist and the optional Active Parking Assist, which makes the MPV as easy to park as a compact car.

Best-in-class efficiency comes courtesy of state-of-the-art turbo diesel engines with incredibly low fuel consumption ranging from 5.7 to 6.0 l/100 km. The new V-Class also scores highly for its spaciousness and versatile seating and loading configurations. One particular highlight for easy and convenient loading and unloading is the rear windshield, which can be opened separately to provide access to a second loading level.

With two equipment lines, two wheelbases, three vehicle lengths, three engines and a wide selection of optional equipment, the new MPV can be extensively individualized. This enables it to fulfill an extremely broad range of customer requirements: The focus is on families with two or more children, active individuals with large piece of sports equipment and operators of luxurious VIP or hotel shuttles.
