The new S 65 AMG: the ultimate in Driving Performance – The Mercedes-Benz S 65 AMG is the only high-performance automobile from a German premium manufacturer to have a twelve-cylinder engine, and it sets the benchmark as the most powerful vehicle in the segment. With 463 kW (630 hp) and 1,000 Nm of torque, the V12 biturbo unit delivers an incredibly refined driving experience. By reducing fuel consumption by 2.4 l/100 km (NEDC combined) and fulfilling the EU6 emissions standard, the new V12 sedan is fit for the future. Power transmission is via the AMG SPEEDSHIFT PLUS 7G-TRONIC automatic gearbox. Its wide ratio spread enables considerably lower engine revving than the preceding five-speed automatic, thus contributing to the reduction in fuel consumption.

The new S 600: top model with V12 engine – The new S 600 with V12 biturbo engine is available exclusively in the long-wheelbase version, complete with an extensive package of appointments. At market launch, the other models in the range will benefit from an expanded range of equipment. This includes the head-up display and a new touchpad for operating the COMAND Online multimedia system, which will be standard equipment on all S-Class models.

At 390 kW (530 hp), the V12 biturbo engine in the S 600 generates even more power than its 380 kW (517 hp) predecessor, yet, with an average of 11.1 l/100 km, consumes 21 percent less fuel. Displacement increases from 5,513 to 5,980 cm3. Maximum torque is 830 Nm and is available at 1,900 rpm.
