Although not expected to hit the market until 2015, the larger second generation Mercedes-Benz GLK has been spied yet again.

Growing in size to separate itself from the all-new GLA, the GLK will receive a longer wheel base and wider stance. Making room for the elongated wheelbase, the GLK’s front axle will be moved forward.

Still heavily covered in camo, design leaks are minimal but based on the latest Mercedes models, the GLK will likely receive a sportier exterior with a slightly sloped roofline.  Also worth noting is that the rear windows in the prototype  are a temporary ones

The powerhouse of the GLK lineup will be as follows: a newly created 1.8-liter 4-cylinder turbocharged engine inside the GLK 250, a 2.1-liter 4-cylinder diesel under the hood of the GLK 250 BlueTEC, and for the more powerful GLK 350, a V6 motor which could be topped by a possible AMG.
