The new C-Class: only the best will do – Thanks to an intelligent lightweight design concept with up to 100 kilograms less weight, best-in-class aerodynamics (cd 0.24) and new, fuel-efficient engines, all of which are equipped with the ECO start/stop function, the new C‑Class delivers the best efficiency figures in its class. The new model consumes up to 20 percent less fuel than its predecessor. A host of new assistance systems from the Mercedes full-size class offer the highest levels of safety. The Stop&Go Pilot, for instance, makes it the only car in the segment with partially autonomous driving. The new chassis, optionally available with AIRMATIC air suspension, ensures excellent suspension and body roll comfort, as well as agile handling characteristics.

Visually, the new C-Class sets progressive design accents with its clear yet emotional design and its first-class interior. Overall, the look-and-feel of the new C-Class is like an “upgrade to a higher class”.

Also debuting on the new 2015 Mercedes-Benz C-Class is Apple’s new CarPlay infotainment system. Mercedes-Benz will be the first premium German auto manufacturer to bring Apple’s “CarPlay” infotainment system into cars. The new software is based on the iPhone and works as a new operating system designed to allow drivers easy access to functions like phone calls, text messages, maps, music, and Siri, all through the car’s dashboard.
