Review Roundup:  Multiple Looks At The C-Class, SLR Roadster, E220 CDI Estate And F700 Concept
Posted September 14th, 2007 At 11:30 AM CST

Exterior views of the new C-Class, SLR Roadster, E220 CDI Wagon and F700 Concept

Although Mercedes reviews have been relatively slow the past week due to the ongoing coverage of the International Motor Show, a few new MB reviews have surfaced recently - reviews which analyze the C300 Sport, C350 Sport, SLR McLaren Roadster and E220 CDI Estate.  In addition, there's an article published by the New York Times which discusses the new F700 concept, a vehicle which, in addition to featuring the much-needed sushi storage compartment, redefines fuel efficiency in a luxury sedan.

As with all our "Review Roundup" segments, you can find links to each article along with brief descriptions of each immediately below.

Enjoy.

Mercedes C300 Sport - Fortune Small Business [via CNN Money] is the latest to weigh in on the new C-Class, praising the model's responsive steering, stable suspension and "grownup" appearance

Mercedes C350 Sport - A reviewer for the Chicago Sun Times takes a break from his personal vehicle - a 1991 Chevy Caprice - to review a new C350 Sport, offering an amusing comparison of the two

Mercedes SLR McLaren Roadster - WhatCar? rates the SLR Roadster in a total of nine different categories ranging from "Performance" to "Space & Practicality," eventually granting the supercar three out of a possible five stars

Mercedes E220 CDI Avantgarde Estate - Auto Express pits the E220 CDI Estate against its nearest rivals - the Volvo V70, BMW 525d and A6 Avant - rating the model second behind the BMW

Mercedes F700 Concept - Last but not least, the New York Times offers a design critique and brief look at the feature set of the F700 Concept, with the reviewer placing far too much emphasis on its appearance and nowhere near enough emphasis on the fact it's capable of achieving over 40 mpg (despite being the size of the current S-Class)

And before I go, a special thanks to both Shiv and Martin for the tips: as always gentlemen, we sincerely appreciate them.
