The International Auto Show introduced a host of new Mercedes models, including the S-Class, two hybrid S-Class concepts, the ML 63 AMG and the Vision R 63 AMG. But there was another car introduced at the IAA this year that we failed to mention. It goes by the name of the Brabus Rocket.
The car, quite simply, is an absurd vehicle. Brabus took a CLS, added a twin-turbo 730 horsepower V12, and made a car so fast it's likely to snap your head right off your body. How fast is it? 0-60 in less than 4 seconds, and a top speed of 217 mph, electronically limited. Oh, did I forget to mention that I love absurd vehicles?
In addition to the power enhancements, the entire car has been upgraded to handle the increased speed. Better brakes, a more aerodynamic body kit, and new interior are a small list of upgrades the donor CLS has received. The only question left is how many do you want? I'll settle for two - one black and one silver. Then I'll clone myself so I can have the pleasure of driving both at the same time.
If you want to see more of the Brabus Rocket, our friend John Neff over at Autoblog took some great pictures at the IAA, which you can check out here. Otherwise, you can visit the Brabus website for more information on this ridiculous ride.
