Although it's been approximately four months since Mercedes unveiled to the world their latest luxury coupe, for many of you, the decision as to whether or not you should make the switch to the new model is still weighing heavily on your hearts.
To help ease the difficulty of your plight, Inside Line has just published their first review of the model which provides a well-written look as to what you can expect should you indeed decide to part with the $100,000 or so hard-earned dollars the latest CL will set you back.
Not surprisingly, Inside Line's article echoes strongly the previous CL reviews we've read, with the testers noting "we still had a hard time finding anything wrong with the big coupe. It looks better, goes faster and feels more comfortable than its nearly perfect predecessor. There's too much weight on board to throw around quickly, but if you want light buy a Lotus. If you want a luxurious, quiet and fast GT, the CL550 is as good as any car on the road."
To a large degree I believe most prospective customers will agree. Despite what I consider to be somewhat questionable styling, I think the overall feeling of luxury exuded by the CL will outweigh any negatives currently on the minds of those considering the new model.
Soon we shall see.
