What happens when you take a new GL450 , submerge it in a giant water tank, then throw in the sultry Eva Mendez clad in a delectably form-accentuating couture gown swimming alongside the said Mercedes model?
The answer of course is art, and thanks to photographer Michael Muller, we now have an accurate representation of what exactly the aforementioned art looks like.
In a recent art project entitled "Quiet", Michael photographs this as well as twenty-four other underwater scenarios, all of which aim to portray the silence and stillness one experiences when underwater. The exhibit is part of an effort to raise money for The Art of Elysium in Universal City, California, with all proceeds from the sale of "Quiet" pieces going to benefit the not-for-profit organization.
If you're interested, twenty-five prints of Eva Mendez and the Mercedes GL450 are up for sale; pricing, however, has not been announced. For more information, visit the The Art of Elysium's website where you can learn about the project as well as how to acquire one of the piece(s) for yourself.
You can also view several other photos of the GL450 being submerged (none of which made it into the collection) immediately below.
Enjoy.
