Channel 4's Long Term Mercedes R-Class Test

Sure, we've all read the reviews; we've all been bombarded by Mercedes' marketing campaign telling us it isn't a minivan, it's a "sports tourer".    But what we haven't read, and what may be the biggest factor as to whether or not the R-Class is really worth the price of admission, is how it holds up over the long-term.

Despite Channel 4's best attempts, the answer to that question still remains.

Although it's true the British website did conduct what they're calling a long-term test of the Mercedes R320 CDI, it ends up being nothing more than what you'd expect from the typical review - a general overview, brief looks at a few of the R's different features... standard review stuff.

While it's not a bad review for those unfamiliar with the R-Class, for those of us who already know about the model and are looking for a long-term synopsis, we'll have to keep waiting.

Of course, you can always just talk to an R-Class owner and get their opinion of it...that is, if you can find someone that actually owns the R-Class...

To learn more, head over to Channel 4 to check out the full review for yourself.
