Although better-known for their in-depth analysis' of the latest high-tech gadgetry, C|NET today has published a wonderfully techie review of the new Mercedes E550, offering prospective customers of the model an extensive look at it numerous on-board electrical features and functions.

While there was some criticism bestowed upon the E's navigation system, overall the C|NET editors seemed generally fond of the test subject, ultimately blessing it with a rating of 8.7 out of 10.  Not quite the 9.7 the new S-Class received, but still impressive nonetheless.
