If you've been wondering whether or not it's worth it to pony up the hundred thousand or so it will take to get your well-appointed self behind the wheel of the well-appointed Mercedes CL-Class, The Independent has decided to weigh in on the topic, delivering an objective and what I consider to be fairly accurate assessment of the new model.
In the review, some criticism was dealt as a result of the CL's styling (which I have agree could have used some additional tweaking), but in the end, their opinions of the CL are exactly what I believe Mercedes strived for when designing the new model - it possesses a superbly-understated elegance; impeccable driving manners; and supremely-high levels of technology and safety.
In short, it's everything a new CL should be.
