AutoWeek Reports On The Forthcoming Mercedes GLK
Posted October 3rd, 2006 At 12:40 PM CST

Auto Bild's rendering of what a potential Mercedes-Benz GLK-Class may look like

Lest you forget that Mercedes is indeed working on a smaller SUV to do battle with the BMW X3 (and any other small SUV, for that matter), AutoWeek has published an article that aims to provide you with a recap of previously-released GLK information (and speculation).

In their article, AutoWeek reiterates the fact that the GLK will be based on the upcoming 2008 C-Class and that the new model will likely be produced at DaimlerChrysler's Bremen plant in northern Germany.  The article then goes on to provide a quick look at other automaker's entries in the same segment, two of which include the BMW X3 and the Acura RDX.

There isn't anything we haven't already told you, but if you didn't catch our earlier GLK articles it will at least provide you with a quick look at what you missed.

For more info , head over to AutoWeek for the full article.
