As I'm sure you all know by now, Mercedes has redesigned the ML-Class for the 2006 model year, replacing the aging SUV that has brought Mercedes' quality into question with a vehicle re-engineered from the ground up.
USA Today recently took a look at Mercedes' latest addition to the SUV segment. Unfortunately the review, like many others, is based solely on the vehicle's appearance, not how the vehicle performs. So rather than settling for a half-hearted review like so many publications give, I decided to find reviews that actually involved driving the vehicle, and am now bringing them to you. If you are in the market for a Mercedes ML SUV, these reviews should give you at least a somewhat better idea of how the ML will actually perform. And, because I know everyone loves pictures, I have included a few photos of the Mercedes SUV as well. To see the photos, click the thumbnails and they'll open in a new window.
And now, without furthur ado, here are the reviews:
1) Truck Trend's First Drive of the 2006 ML-Class
2) Inside Line's Full Test of the 2006 Mercedes-Benz ML 350
3) Autobytel's 2006 Mercedes-Benz M-Class First Drive
And finally, if you want USA Today's opinion, here it is:
