I can't say that I've ever felt the urge to add chrome tubing accents to one of my vehicles, and in all likelihood, I probably never will.  However, there may be some of you that share a difference of opinion on the matter, and to you I present Cobra Technology & Lifestyle's new GLK Accessory Collection.

New from Cobra Technology & Lifestyle:  Exclusive Accessories for the Mercedes GLK-Class

The new GLK is the latest shiny addition to the impressive SUV lineup of Mercedes-Benz. Cobra Technology & Lifestyle (www.cobra-sor.com) adds its own exclusive accessories to the new model.

The Cobra Technology & Lifestyle designers and engineers have developed two different options for giving the new GLK an even more striking front. The energy-absorbing front guard with a tube diameter of 60 millimeters provides classic off-road looks. The elastically mounted innovative front guard meets the strict EU guidelines for pedestrian protection. After passing the required crash tests with flying colors the Cobra Technology & Lifestyle front guard was awarded an EU type certificate that allows installation of the guard on the Mercedes GLK without individual technical inspections and without any amendments to the vehicle registration documents.

The second option for upgrading the front of the new Mercedes is the Cobra CITYGUARD® front element. It is also made from stainless-steel and mounts to the underside of the production bumper.

Cobra Technology & Lifestyle stainless-steel rocker panel guards are as stylish as they are useful. They have a tube diameter of 80 millimeters and feature an integrated step to make getting in and out of the car easier. They also protect the sides of the vehicle under tough off-road conditions.

Alternatively Cobra Technology & Lifestyle offers surrounds for the running boards available from the factory. The surrounds are made from stainless-steel with a tube diameter of 42 millimeters.

The rear of the GLK is upgraded visually with the Cobra Technology & Lifestyle rear guards. These stainless-steel components with a tube diameter of 60 millimeters protect the production bumper against damage from minor impacts. Customers can opt to protect only the left and right quarter bumper or combine these elements with a central rear guard that mounts between the tailpipes of the production exhaust.

Cobra Technology & Lifestyle Sahara wheels in size 8.5Jx20 front and back are the perfect complement to the accessories package. The one-piece light-alloy wheels feature eight double spokes and a lockable hub cap for added theft protection.
