While going through our inbox this rather dismal November morning our good friend and tipster Dan sent us word of one of several stories we missed yesterday during our strictly-SEMA coverage.
In his email, Dan directed us to a recent article originally published by The Independent of London in which automotive reviewer Richard Lofthouse takes a ride in the pavement-scorching V12-powered Brabus CLS Rocket.
Lofthouse's conclusion after hitting the autobahn at 180mph?
"The experience lacked drama" said Richard, "and didn't feel hair-on-fire dangerous. The Brabus Rocket, based on a two-tonne Mercedes CLS, felt totally unruffled."
And that ladies and gentlemen, is what driving a Brabus Mercedes is all about. Unholy speeds wrapped in the pinnacle of luxury.
Now if only I had $435,000 hidden under my mattress...
To check out Lofthouse's full experience traveling in the Brabus CLS Rocket, head over to Motoring.co.za for his full write-up.
Thanks for the tip Dan.
