There's no denying the raw sexiness of the Mercedes-Benz CLK63 AMG Black Series.  It's a sensuous creature - a Mercedes stripped down... transformed... into a vehicle designed purely for performance.  But for some of you, the question of whether such a vehicle is needed - wanted even - still lingers.  It is for this group that today's batch of reviews exists, a collection of reviews dedicated solely to describing what's now the second Black Series to be produced by AMG.

Car Online - Car magazine delivered numerous praises of the model, rating it four out of a possible five stars but noting that for the price, it faces strong competition

AutoExpress - AutoExpress was generally pleased with the CLK, rating it three out of a possible five stars with more criticism of the model's price especially in relationship to its competitors

Motor Trend - Not so much a review as a narrative describing their time in the CLK, Motor Trend still details well the model's on-track characteristics (there's a video as well, which will likely make you nauseous)

AutoCar - A slightly more in-depth look at the CLK63 Black, with praises coming as a result of both the car's power and handling
