Time Waster Of The Day:  Fun With Photoshop

Spy Photo of Next Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren Along with Photoshopped Version of Next Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren, Both Front and Side View

A while back, we brought you details and spy photos of what is likely to be the latest update to the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren.  After we published our story, AutoWeek later ran the same article, using the same spy photographs and information.

Fast forward a couple weeks.

While browsing the VWVortex forums this morning, one reader weighed in with his thoughts of the AutoWeek article and the newest SLR spy shots.  Rather than paraphrasing, I'll let him take it from here:

"I was looking at the SLR redesign spyshots, and I got to thinking, has Mercedes gone too far? Have they added too much... stuff to the car? It just seems to be an endless morass of flaps, panels, filials, fandangles and fumphoral.

But then, I thought... no way baby! They haven't gone nearly far enough! This pimpbiscuit needs more and by 'more', I mean 'MORE'! So I fired up the ol' photoshop and set out to see just how much more I could stuff onto this thing. I quickly came to the determination that no matter what I did, it didn't seem to make that much difference. In fact, the only thing that seemed to change is that I felt that much more drunk. Other than that....pffft!

See for yourself."

So now, ladies and gentlemen, without further ado:  the even more updated Mercedes SLR McLaren, courtesy of Porridgehead.  As always, click any to enlarge, and for more info, head over to the VWVortex forums for the full posting.
