I Love A Good Mystery: First Glimpse Of New AMG Model Set To Debut At The New York Auto Show

A disguised Mercedes AMG model set to make its debut at the New York Auto Show

Welcome back ladies and gentlemen; I hope you all had a fantastic weekend.  To kick things off this bright March morning comes a story I missed last Friday - one which gives us the first glimpse of a new AMG Mercedes model set to make its debut at the New York Auto Show next month.

The photo above, posted on the AMG-owners' website AMG Private Lounge is all that's revealed about the model, although some believe it's the C63 AMG variant we've all been patiently awaiting the arrival of.   After a quick round of comparisons, the C63 certainly does appear to be the prime candidate, with the few angles revealed mimicking the standard C-Class quite closely (save for the apparent single door handle).

As for whether it really is an AMG variant of the C-Class, we shall see, but in the meantime, you can head over to Inside Line to check out their take on the matter, or keep scrolling to see a side-by-side comparison of the two models.
