Just in time for Easter, Mercedes has released details of their newest DriversLine Collection, a plethora of MB accessories perfect for the Mercedes commercial vehicle driver in your life.

Of the items released in the latest collection, none is sure to garner more attention than the "Black Edition" Märklin miniature train.  Limited in number to only 400, the train consists of an E locomotive based on the 185 model series as well as two low-platform wagons, each transporting two “Black Edition” model Mercedes-Benz Actros trucks. Each 1:87 model Actros truck is meticulously handcrafted from over 20 separate parts, and they're only available as a part of the truck transport train set.  If you're interested, pricing (in Deutschland) will be EUR 449.

But the fun doesn't stop there ladies and gentlemen, the hits just keep on coming. Watches, driving apparel, leather accessories... you name it, they've got it.

And finally, last but certainly not least, Mercedes has added a special cup to the mix. On the surface, the porcelain cup looks like a mild-mannered Mercedes mug; but a few seconds after being filled with a hot drink (36 degrees C and up), an Easter Bunny image magically appears on the cup's one naked surface. “Seek, and you shall find” – introducing the first special Easter offer for driver accessories in the DriversLine Collection. A wide range of functional and practical articles from this prestigious collection has gift ideas to suit almost every taste and budget – and not just for Easter.
As the special highlight, in an exclusive limited edition of 400, Mercedes-Benz presents a model truck transport train, HO gauge. The “Black Edition” design Märklin miniature train, with a distinctive black and silver paint finish, consists of an E locomotive based on the 185 model series and two low-platform wagons, each transporting two “Black Edition” model Mercedes-Benz Actros trucks. These 1: 87 scale models, handcrafted from over 20 separate parts, feature meticulous attention to detail and silver chrome mounted parts. The “Black Edition” Actros models are made exclusively for this Herpa truck transport train (price in Germany: €449), and are not available as single items.

Also included in this special Easter issue of the DriversLine Collection are model trucks from the Mercedes-Benz commercial vehicle range, quality watches, practical apparel items, stylish leather accessories and cuddly soft toys.

The selection of 30 articles also features a very special porcelain cup: a few seconds after being filled with a hot drink at a temperature of at least 36°C, an Easter Bunny image appears on the outside of the cup. Other attractions include toy trucks, such as the 1: 24 Unimog with mounted crane, or the 1: 50 Actros concrete-mixer. Younger tastes are also catered for with a “paint-your-own” umbrella and cuddly soft-toy rabbits made from quality, skin-friendly materials.
