On March 18th, the former Mercedes-Benz museum opened its doors for one last time, ushering out the end of an era as part of Stuttgart’s Long Night of the Museums.

Although it may be a sad time for fans of the former museum, soon the Mercedes museum will be re-born, reincarnated in the image of the building pictured above.

To herald the new museum's arrival, Mercedes-Benz is counting down the days, giving visitors to their website a series of facts and figures every 2nd day leading up to the official opening on May 20th. Visitors to to the countdown can also publish their own Mercedes stories, and on May 20th, all will be available for viewing via the MB website.
