For those of you eagerly awaiting the news as to whether or not the Mercedes Ocean Drive concept will ever see production, Motor Trend reported over the weekend that the convertible S-Class will indeed enter the market, debuting in the 2011 model year. Aside from the fact production has been confirmed, little else is revealed, other than the fact that it could
be powered by anything from the current 5.5-Liter V8 to an AMG-tuned V12.
How Motor Trend arrived at their deduction is anyone's guess. Obviously 2011 is still a bit of time to wait, but if it's of the utmost importance you're the first on your block to own the Ocean Drive, you can always head to the dealership and attempt to place a down payment on the model a full four years in advance, just to be on the safe side.
To learn more, head over to Motor Trend for the full story detailing the Mercedes Ocean Drive concept's production confirmation.
