Although our invitation was apparently lost in the mail, a number of other automotive publications were treated to an advanced screening of the new Mercedes C63 AMG, several of which have already published their initial impressions of the M3-assassin.  This, in tandem with the fact that various other Mercedes models (namely, the CLK63 AMG Black Series, CL63 AMG and S500) have also been tested recently means it time for yet another installment of our "Review Roundup" segment - one which, if you're an AMG fan, you'll most certainly enjoy.

As with all our Review Roundup segments, you can find links to each review along with tidy descriptions of each immediately below.

Enjoy.

2008 Mercedes C63 AMG - AutoWeek is the first to share their impressions of the C63, delivering a comprehensive and thoroughly well-written look at the new model

2008 Mercedes C63 AMG - AutoCar.co.uk is the second of three to weigh in on the new AMG-powered C-Class, stating the model possesses "an athleticism we’ve never seen in an AMG before"

2008 Mercedes C63 AMG - The final of three C63 reviews comes courtesy of Motor Trend, again providing a detailed, well-written look at the model and finding it will undoubtedly present a strong-challenge to the forthcoming M3

2008 Mercedes CLK63 AMG Black Series - The newest look at the $135K CLK63 AMG Black Series courtesy of Motor Trend, with the reviewer praising virtually every aspect of the model

2007 Mercedes CL63 AMG - The Truth About Cars provides a fairly concise yet well-written look at the CL63, ultimately bestowing the model with five out a possible five stars

2007 Mercedes S500 - Last but not least, Drive.com.au provides Australians with a comparison pitting the Mercedes S500 (or S550 here in the states) against a number of other luxury sedans, eventually declaring the new Lexus LS460 - a model frequently ranked below both Mercedes and BMW's offerings - the winner

And before I go, a special thanks to Shiv and Joe for the tips:  as always, we sincerely appreciate it.
