To my Ireland-dwelling readers cosidering the purchase of Mercedes' new CL-Class coupe, the Kilkenny Advertiser recently took their turn with the recently-introduced model, sharing their insight as to whether or not it lives up to its illustrious past.
Their findings unsurprisingly were that the new CL does indeed carry on the model's impeccable lineage, with the reviewer concluding:
| "Fifty-five years ago, the original of this species was hailed as the "car for the world's elite' by the European auto press. The new CL-Class, the seventh generation of the large Mercedes coupés has arrived and with it, I echo my colleagues of the 50s - it is the best all round coupé in the world and is craved by the rich and powerful." |
