While going through our inbox this early Friday afternoon I ran across an email from our good friend Jinx, directing us to a recent Mercedes CL550 review published by The Detroit News.
There's not a whole lot new for those of you who've stayed up to date on the numerous past articles which analyzed Mercedes' new coupe, but for those of you who may have just recently considered opting for the CL, it's a brief, well-written look at the new model. Among the list of praises, a few areas reviewers made note of included the CL's "sensational exterior design, a delicious blend of curves and angles that recalls the shapely CLS sedan, only on a grander scale"; the fact the the new CL, "despite its proportions and mass, is amazingly swift and nimble"; and the CL's cabin, of which the reviewer noted "it seems as if Mercedes has thought of practically every amenity, and then some."
As for the conclusion, the reviewers found that "spending hundreds of miles behind the wheel of the CL550 in mid-December has been one of the more invigorating and entertaining driving experiences of 2006."
So there you have it: yet another satisfied customer.
To learn more, head over to The Detroit News for the full 2007 Mercedes CL550 review; and to Jinx: thanks once again for the tip; we truly appreciate it.
