Mercedes-Benz W220 S-Class With Station Wagon Conversion Front View

Dear readers, I apologize for my somewhat diminutive lack of articles lately, I've been swamped the last few days with work from "the other job" as well as a few behind the scenes maintenance tasks with this site.  By week's end, all will be well with the world, and I will be able to return to my regular number of postings, I promise.

Despite the lack of posting, there really wasn't much Mercedes news making headlines today, although for the second day in a row the guys over at Jalopnik have found an equisite Mercedes oddity.

The lucky winner this time is a station wagon conversion for the W220 Mercedes S-Class, which, although slightly better than the Mercedes MP3 player, still won't be gracing my driveway anytime soon.

The vehicle in question comes from the lovely city of Vienna, Austria, and to put it simply, is big, green, and slightly "Volvo-esque" in the rear.  Then again, as a former Volvo owner I tend to associate all station wagons with Volvo, so my vision may be somewhat skewed.

As they always say, a picture's worth a thousand words, and in addition to the ones above and below, you can find more photos of the W220 station wagon by clicking here.
