As anyone familiar with Mercedes knows, the company prides themselves on their ability to constantly innovate and improve vehicle technology, which in turn provides customers with the absolute highest level of safety and comfort.
In keeping with this mantra, Mercedes has unveiled today their latest headlamp technology, titled the "Intelligent Light System,"
and has outlined what exactly prospective E-Class owners can come to expect in the latest innovation from Mercedes-Benz.
To put it simply, the Intelligent Light System is exactly that - it's a lighting system that intelligently adapts to driving situations and weather conditions, which in turn provides owners with a vastly improved level of visibility...

Yes, Mercedes has been graced with yet another accolade, this time earning the EuroCarBody AWARD 2005. As you can see from the photograph, it's really no surprise why Mercedes won the award, she is, after all, a woman most would consider phenomonally attractive...

Today, Mercedes has released details of what they're calling the A-Class "Polar Star," a special edition model that is a "harmonioius combination of sporty looks and elegant touches."

| Mercedes Car Group Kicks Off January With Slight Sales Increase |

Welcome back ladies and gentlemen, I hope you all had a great Super Bowl weekend.
To kick things off today, DaimlerChrysler has put out a press release detailing January sales for the Mercedes Car Group.
In total, the Mercedes-Benz and smart car brands sold 72,700 passenger cars worldwide, compared to 71,900 in January of 2005. Separately, the Mercedes-Benz brand noted an increase of 5% last month with 61,300 units being sold, while smart posted a 22.6% decline with 8,200 units being sold...

As you may have noticed yesterday I was feeling a little under the weather, hence the lack of updates, for which I apologize. I'm feeling somewhat better today, but if the stories seem a tad bit shorter than usual, now you know my excuse. But enough about me...

| AutoBild Reports On The Next Generation CLK-Class |

As you can probably tell from the above photograph, our friends over at AutoBild are back at it again, this time unveiling computer-generated images of what they believe the latest CLK-Class will look like.
The German publication is reporting that newest rendition of the CLK will feature a larger body, redesigned headlights that remind me way too much of a Lexus, and redesigned taillights that I just don't like. Unless my eyes are deceiving me, the new CLK will also feature a Mercedes' logo in the front grille roughly the size of the driver's head...
