Before I begin today, let me first apologize for the uncharacteristically slow day for Mercedes news that you no doubt noticed yesterday and this morning. Our consistently problematic internet connection has once again prohibited us from posting any articles for the last 24 hours, but it appears we're back online, so hopefully the technical difficulties are now over. Fingers crossed.
So now that you know the reason for the drought of Mercedes news for the past day or so, lets kick things off with a story sent to us yesterday afternoon by an anonymous informant notifying us that two new interactive features have been added to the Mercedes AMG website.
The first feature, perfect for gaming aficionados or those just looking to make the work day go a little quicker, is a "Drift Competition" - an online game which allows you to pilot the Mercedes CL63 AMG around a snowy track with the purpose of catapulting snow onto various "DriftBoards" scattered throughout the course. It's a pain in the ass at first, but once you've played it for a bit it becomes somewhat more addictive.
If gaming isn't your forte, the other interactive feature Mercedes AMG has introduced is
an online Christmas card creator. Choose from one of several winter scenes, combine them your Mercedes AMG model of choice, and attach a personalized message to wish your family, friends and colleagues a joyous holiday.
Fun, right?
To try your hand at either of these two additions to the Mercedes AMG site, head over to the Drift Competition or the Card Creator for more information.
Enjoy.
