Welcome back ladies and gentlemen, I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas, as I did.
Although Mercedes news has been extremely sparse the past few days, I found a story that many of you prospective C-Class owners may be interested in.
Inside Line recently took a look at the Mercedes C350 Sport, the beefed up version of the C-Class featuring a manual six-speed gearbox paired with Mercedes's new 268 horsepower 3.5-Liter V6.
Although the land of entry-level luxury sport sedans has been more commonly known as the territory of the BMW 3-Series and the Audi A4, the C350 Sport performed well, rivaling 0-60 times of it's German competitors as well as outmaneuvering them both in the slalom. In fact, the performance figures of the C350 Sport were so impressive, they came close to those of the C55 AMG, which costs nearly $20,000 more.
Despite its performance, hints of the C-Class' aging life cycle are evident throughout the review, namely with the C-Class' interior. However, if you need a new C-Class and don't want to wait until the redesign, you won't be disappointed.
