Anybody that owned an original NES knows that one of the greatest games of all time is R.C. Pro-Am.
That's why when I got a tip today pointing me to a Mercedes AMG racing game that reminded me a little of my classic NES days, I knew I had to make it a Time Waster of the Day.
The game is set up in a similar format to R.C. Pro-Am, with an aerial view throughout the entire race. You can choose to drive one of three Mercedes AMG models on three different icy tracks, with the objective being to navigate through the cones and avoid the snowmen scattered throught the course.
Although it is fun avoiding the snowmen, I personally found it much more enjoyable to mow down as many helpless snowmen as possible - but that's just me.
If you have some free time, head over and check it out, it's pretty amusing.
You can play the Mercedes AMG Winter Challenge 2005 by clicking here.
[UPDATE: Let's take a leaderboard, shall we? Who's that kicking Autoblog's ass? Yeah boy. Word to your mother.
Where's Jalopnik? Let's go bitches, get your game on. What.]
[SECOND UPDATE: I apologize for the strong language; apparently Vanilla Ice broke into our office and went a little crazy. He always gets so excited about video games - crazy bastard.]
[THIRD UPDATE: Since posting the story, we have gotten our asses thoroughly kicked off the leaderboard, and have resigned to the fact that we suck. We will still keep the leaderboard you see below, however, so that we may remember and treasure our short-lived reign near the top. Thank you, and good-night.]
