Mercedes-Benz Mixed Tape 10

If you're a regular reader of our site, you already know what the Mercedes-Benz Mixed Tape is.

If you're new to our site, here's Mercedes' description of what it encompasses:  "The Mercedes-Benz Mixed Tapes offers a platform for music that knows no bounds - 15 talented newcomers from four continents present the sound of tomorrow – available as a free-of-charge MP3 download compilation.  A moving experience – not only in your Mercedes-Benz."

Excited yet?  If it sounds too good be true, it is...  unless of course your idea of "the sound of tomorrow" is a joyous adventure through a land of repetitive techno-inspired disco beats with some accoustic and slow jazz thrown in, all accompanied by arguably the most horrendous vocals in the existence of mankind (save Ashlee Simpson, of course).

All right, so maybe I'm a little harsh. I will give the Mixed Tape 10 some credit, however - it is slightly better than the Mixed Tape 09.  After listening to the last incarnation of Mercedes' free music downloads, I can honestly say I was about two seconds away from ending my own life.

If you're feeling adventurous (or deaf), you can head over to Mercedes and download the Mixed Tape by clicking here. You can also download the Mercedes-Benz Text Tracks and Mercedes-Benz podcast from the same place. Good luck.
