| Mercedes Unveils ML 63 AMG |

Have you been thinking about buying a new ML-Class, but worried it didn't have quite enough power? Mercedes has the answer. Debuting at the International Auto Show in Frankfurt, Germany, the new ML 63 AMG is sure to satisfy your power cravings. The ML boasts a new 6.3-Liter V8 engine producing 510 horsepower, paired with Mercedes' new 7 speed automatic transmission, producing a 0-100 km/h time of 5.0 seconds. Not too shabby for an SUV. Of course, the new ML also features Mercedes' trademark AMG styling, including 19" five spoke wheels, front and rear aprons, new grille, flared wings and running boards. | R 55 AMG To Debut In Frankfurt |

Although the Mercedes-Benz R-Class isn't going to be released until this fall, information is already leaking out about a high performance AMG version of the vehicle. Rumors indicate the R55 will be powered by the 476 horsepower, 5.5-Liter V8 engine used in other AMG models; however, it some think it could also be powered by the supercharged 5.0-Liter V8 used the M-Class. The R55 is set to debut in Frankfurt next month, so stay tuned for the latest news.

| New S-Class Loves The Environment |

The new Mercedes-Benz S350 is the world's first automobile to earn an environmental certificate. According to the press release, the S350 betters the EU4 limits (European emissions standards) for nitrogen oxides by more than 85 percent, and for hydrocarbons by around 75 percent. It also consumes about 9 percent less fuel than the previous S350. The press release also states the S500 and S600 perform significantly below the EU4 limits.

| Engines Of The New S-Class |

Mercedes has revealed details of the engines that will power the new S-Class line. A new 388 horsepower 5.5-Liter V8 will power the S500, producing a 0-100 km/h time of 5.4 seconds (it took the old S500 6.3 seconds). The V12 engine will also see an improvement of 17 horsepower, which will bring the grand total to 517 horsepower. For the full press release, click below.

| S-Class Will Feature Infrared Lighting |

The new Mercedes-Benz S-Class will feature the world's first infrared lighting system. According to the press release, the new lighting system will utilize infrared module technology and a standard headlight bulb to illuminate the road. A CCD camera is then used to acquire the infrared images and send them to an onboard display. Automotive Lighting, the maker of the lights, says the new technology will allow permanent driving with invisible high beams, without affecting oncoming traffic.
