Filmed on a rural stretch of road just outside of Dubai, the video showcases Automobile's Ezra Dyer hitting a top speed of 206 mph in the supercar, a feat he accomplishes while apparently taping himself...

Spy shot of an updated Mercedes SLK-Class, front and side view

Rumored to be making its appearance at the Frankfurt Motor Show later this year, Auto Express recently published some new photos of a mildly-updated SLK-Class.

As you'll see in the photos, the revisions are mild, but areas being tweaked include the front apron (supposedly receiving "triangular bars underneath the Formula-One nose to mimic the front end design of Mercedes’ quite successful silver arrows F1 racers"), the rear tail lights, and the dashboard...

Spy shot of an updated Mercedes SL-Class, front view

If you remember back in February, photos depicting an updated SL-Class emerged, photos of a vehicle that at the time were billed as the next-generation 2009 SL-Class.  Now, new photos of another updated SL have once again surfaced, revealing no more than they did the first time around.

As you'll see, the SL in question features a drastically-altered front end, with a grill much more in tune with the newly-introduced Mercedes models.  There's also light taping on the back, signifying a slight revision to the rear, but overall the back remains relatively unchanged...

Although Mercedes reviews have been a little sparse lately, two articles have recently come to our attention - articles which analyze both the 2008 Mercedes C-Class and the 2007 Mercedes S600L.

The first review, published by Carpoint.com.au, provides Australians with a relatively in-depth look at the new C, first outlining its various specifications before delving into its on-road properties.  In the end, Carpoint awarded the C-Class four out of a possible five stars, stating that "it's a genuinely accomplished package that may well be the new compact prestige sedan benchmark, but we'll reserve judgment on that until we can line it up against its rivals..."

It's been talked about for some time, but Car and Driver has finally taken the wraps off the new Mercedes SLR McLaren Roadster, capturing pics of the consummate supercar at a photo shoot in the Canary Islands.

While the photos reveal the SLR roadster's exterior styling remains virtually unchanged from its hardtop counterpart (save for what Car and Driver's saying will be a soft top, not a retractable hard top), what's unclear is whether it receives standard front-hinged doors or keeps the butterfly variant.  My bet's on the latter, and I'm sure most potential SLR roadster owners favor the same; but then again, anything's possible...
