Over the weekend, we received a number of tips from you, our beloved readers, pointing us to several Mercedes reviews we missed while we were on our usual two-day hiatus. This, of course, means it's time for another installment of our now famous "Review Roundup" segment, and in this episode, the 2008 C-Class, the E63 AMG Wagon and the CL63 AMG are all put to the test to see if each of the models truly does live up to its namesake.
As with all our Review Roundup features, you can find each review, along with a brief description of each, immediately below.
2008 Mercedes C-Class - Channel 4 rates the new C-Class in a total of eight categories including reliability, image, performance and safety, ultimately bestowing the model with four out of a possible five stars
2008 Mercedes C-Class - Wheels24.co.za (of South Africa) spends some time with the new C-Class, outlining well its various specifications as well as its on-road performance
2007 Mercedes E63 AMG Wagon - Auto Motor und Sport pits the E63 Wagon against the BMW M5 Touring; although it's in German, as our friend Ferdinand stated in his email, you at least get some nice pics of two astonishing cars (even if you don't know what the hell they're saying)
2007 Mercedes CL63 AMG - Last but not least, Autocar deliver the latest (albeit brief) look at the consummate CL63, criticizing its somewhat lessened lack of refinement when compared to its non-AMG sibling but recommending it to those who favor "pure folly"
And lest I forget, a huge thanks to our friends Shiv and Ferdinand for the tips; as always, you know we appreciate it.
