In an article published today, Marketwatch is reporting that DaimlerChrysler may be considering additional job cuts. The article, which is based on an advance copy of Focus-Money magazine, states that in addition to the roughly 15,000 confirmed job cuts, the company may cut an additional 2,500 truck-related jobs and 2,000 management jobs.

In response to the MarketWatch article, Reuters is reporting that the rumors are false, quoting a DaimlerChrysler spokesman as saying, quite bluntly: "This report is absolutely wrong."

You can't get much more direct than that.
